driveshaft length

im converting my 85 4runner from auto to manual. are the drive shafts the same ?

I don't know about the 85, but I'm doing mine right now on a 91. The tranny came from a 89. I had to go back and grab the 89 rear driveshaft cause it was 2" longer than my auto driveshaft. Front matched up fine.
By the way caould you tell me the proper way to put the spring that is "w" sahaped on the clutch pedal cluster. I think it's the return spring and I wanna make sure it's right.

i havent started the project yet so im not sure but as soon as i know i will let ya know
