Nice.
I've been wondering forever...when are you going to add rock sliders?? Your rig needs a pair.
I know you don't see rocks like out west but back east they'd triple up as bark blockers.

Had some tg sliders a couple years back, sold them with the locked diffs for moolash as I was getting a little broke. 4xi are coming soon.

Nice work, as usual. The black theme looks better this time around too. Also, I'm glad to hear you are getting decent wear with the KM2's. I'm getting a set next week .

I just saw this on another site (and of cource I can't find it now) last week. Someone made this and they were able to make a bracket that mounted under the front corners of the hood. Kind of an "S" type that mounted under the hood, came up and over the fender and the cable hooked to it. That way no scratches on the bumper from the u-bolt. Able to lift the hood with no issues...

I'll see if I can find that other thread... I thought I bookmarked it, but no luck.

Someone needs to design some which guard the sides of the rig... every limb I run into ends up scraping the side and not the front!! :/

That was exactly it! Thanks. Here's the link and yep, it was on a Rover.

anyone know of a way to get limb risers on my runner without a roof rack that reaches the front? I have a brush guard so i can mount to that on the bottom but have nothing for up on top. I have seen that jeep has a triangular sandwich shape piece of metal to mount their bracket for the limb risers but im wondering if anyone has tried or knows of a way to mount of for my 4runner.

skydivingdude, you could make brackets that fit in the top of your door jam so you do drill into the bare metal on the roof... and do it that way, but I have a feeling that drilling into the inside of your door jam isn't high on your list... or spending the time to make the brackets to fit nice in flush either... the only other thing i could think of is buy an extension for your current roof rack so it extends further and you can possibly reach...

I'm glad you bumped this hrt4me, I'd have never thought of this. But now I got to figure a way to make it work, would be awesome to have in the hunting woods to keep the limbs from crashing into the windshield.
