that 4runner two tone is pretty disgusting.
that's the thing, I'm still debating on the all black look (what I've got now) or doing something pretty sweet with the orange or charcoal, sticking with all black accents including the wheels / roof rack...etc.
no two tone for my runner, i'll save that for the rolls.
just imagine 4runner that color, all black wheels / offroad gear / tjm someday... been thinking about it, i'm tempted... but I do LOVE THE ALL BLACK!! especially a brand new - aaghhhh can't decide, I guess I've got a week though -
charcoal I could go with that audi - that looks pretty amazing...

but since that shot I've got black emblems (so no more gold!! yes!!), 2" higher lift.. 4 hella 500s up top, and soon the chrome will be gone for black, tjm or similar front bumper..
but I'll get the idea for photochop - I need more recent pics!
dang I do like the black though

my vote would be for the charcoal pearl/metallic. i agree black looks great when clean but it will never be clean, one trip down the road and it's ruined. i detail at a dealership and even after lots of buffing and polishing and waxing, there is no way to get it perfect and the swirls even if they are very minor are more noticeable on black. i had a black '91 celica gts and i painted it charcoal pearl like some of the newer cars and it was awesome.
i guess since you have already owned a black vehicle you know what it looks like when it's dirty and washed a thousand times, if you don't mind that and you have your heart set on black do it up! i'm very partial to orange also, but mostly on 60's camaros.
wow, that helped huh?

I am biased on this but agree that white is a great color if you plan on wheeling her. It is the best color for hiding scratches IMO.
I think if it was any other color than black already it would be hard to repaint but as it is black it could be taped off well and would not look too bad a different color.
Nice 4Runner by the way.

One day on the way to class a 4Runner in that color passed me and I about almost hit the car in-front of me I was in awe.
It is a nice color and when clean, looks really really nice!!
Or you could always go with Anthracite Metallic
Though looking off the color chart for the 4Runners throughout the generations
I like this one...

I almost had an accident the first time I saw an Autumn Blaze Metallic Runner too, and it was a Limited with silver cladding. This is the one picture I got of it (we used to go to the same university and I finally saw it in the parking lot one rainy day and snapped this pic).
I have a 2001 Limited in Glacier Metallic, which was only available in 2001. It's a light blue color, I'll have to post it to my avatar once I get a decent pic. I've had a bugflector and rain guards put on since my last pics were taken.

I have always liked the silver color for some reason the name desert sand comes to mind but i don't think that is right.
I just like it for the fact that it hides scratches pretty well and i think it looks really good

Thats what an amazing color can do to you!
I have always considered repainting mine, but have since fallin in love with the color that I am currently on...
I will be doing a black and Anthracite Metallic themed 4runner
(what will be black is the bumpers, hood, lower 1/4 of the doors and the sun visor with clearance lights once I get that, oh and the rims )
So yeah but there is always Stepdad's 4Runner that I want to do in the same blue as Darren's and 02' Sport I envy very much
