Yes I did. There is more throttle response, a deeper exhaust note when you engage secondaries, and my gas mileage is surprisingly good for how much I have been flooring it. I had a scare though, where my top bolt for the carb-stud extension came loose, I am just glad the coupler didn't come loose, because I wouldn't want that sucked in. So I just check it periodically to make sure its still tight, it'd help if the coupler was the right thread type, but they didn't have metric that large.

I've only ran it on high mileage (over 100K) vehicles... a 2.4 Chrysler turbo 4 cyl engine, fuel injected... a V6 chevy, carburated.. 22RE and 3VZE Toyotas.
Simply as preventative maintenance. Never seen any performance increase from any of , store brand or expensive brand. Of course, if you DO get a clogged fuel injector, it may help.. but thats because you have a problem already. Changing the fuel filter can do wonders for performance too, if you have not changed it for 100k

i havent tried the chevron version but i have had some small positive performance improvements with the BG 44K additive. for mine it seemed to smooth out the idle and i think my gas milage improved a little 1 mpg or so?

I'm planning on a new exhaust setup (not the entire thing, just from the muffler back, new muffler/pipes/tip here in the near future...hopefully) Maybe I can have them check out the cat when I do that. Thanks for the advice man...

Well I'm at half a tank with the Chevron and no noticeable effects yet...but, given the fact that I started with 3/4 of a tank...I have a ways to go before its entirely through the system.

I'll keep you guys posted, no pun intended, on what happens.

Later,

Fink
