I've been driving my '99 for over 50,000 miles now and while I'm jealous of my mom's multi-mode auto I do fine with my plain 'ol 4wd and I wouldn't trade it for a lockerless '01.
I also wish I still had my 02 Sport Edition with AWD, but my Tacoma with the locker suits me fine, too. However, I'd still love a multi-mode/VSC/TRAC/e-locked 4Runner.

so say I get an '01 (which is a good possibility for me) and I already have an elocker sitting around that I intended for my never ending 2nd gen, what's required to put that elock 3rd into my 3rd gen rear housing?
