Can thule equipment be attached to factory roof rack?
I just want to put ski racks on my runner's factory roof rails, but thule's website says there's no attachment to the factory roof rack. I really don't want to have to buy towers and load bars, are there any other options? It seems like their new fat mouth clamps would work.
Anyone have some experience or tricks to make it work?

Not to be an ass (which means I'm going to be an ass) but Thule and Yakima make ski racks (and bike racks and baskets) that attach to factory load bars. Thule and Yakima also make mounts (towers) and bars that will anchor to yoru factory rails.
If you can't find them online, I'd suggest you go visit someone in person.

Isn't there also a rule (maybe it's in the Big Book under Fashion Trends) that says you are required to carry, mounted on the rack, at all times, every single piece of rack equipment made. all year, summer or winter. Nothing says bonehead like an ski rack on a porche in August...
