Had a couple passes at the strip, unfortunatly the clutch I had just put in the night before was a dud. Wouldn't hold anymore than 30% throttle and 3-5 psi.
Still did a 17.9@87 mph running on 38" tires and 4.88 gears.
Since then I have another 30-40hp, and soon to add larger injectors to get another 70-100hp(depending on how well I can tune)
Also, with a good holding clutch, I raced a 97 z28 camaro from 80-120, and was still pulling away.

Man I killed some "ricer" today.... I respect the nice imports that are actually fast and they dont have these rediculous wings and what not... But, I was just driving to work and i was at a red light. What do i hear but someone revving their car. It was a Integra Type R i believe. So i was like alright, Ill show him what this v8 can do... So when it turned green I slammed the gas and I pulled away from instantly.... He looked pretty mad too, heh it was funny. I want a supercharger for the v8 though....

I went to the track on Saturday ... my new (installed in Sept 02) CENTERFORCE dual friction clutch would not hold up to the Supercharged HP.. I am really disappointed. My best time ever is a 15.02, Saturday's best time with slipping stinking clutch was a 15.33

I had the same problem with my ACT clutch setup, it held for a while, but slowly started slipping more and more-- finally just got a stock clutch and it has worked fine ever since.

Type R Good Driver: 14.5 1/4 mile
Type R Bad Driver: 15.0 - 15.5 1/4 mile
It probably just had the emblems. Only way to really tell these days if its a 5-lug instead of 4, and even then that's no garantee thanks to swaps.
Good kill no matter what it was though...

yea thanks.. I just looked and seen a type r badge. But like you guys said, the cool thing now is to put stickers on your car that have nothing to do with your car.

I must admit, I had a "SIR" emblem on my 95 SI for a while. Then I realized that was a JDM only model, and I took it off. Kids these days.

But really who hasn't put a "ricey" accesories in the past and realized how stupid it was after. On my old 2nd gen, I put two rear TRD decals, blue LED washers nozzles, blue reverse bulbs, turn signals, blue strobe lights, blue corner lights and a Toyota sticker on the front windshield. After several months I removed 80% of the crap I put on
