I think it would look a lot better with a more smoked look like eighty5yotas lights. And being able to see the light through the lens would be good too.

But pure black makes it looks a tad cheap, smoked on the other hand would look nice!

You know, I might try niteshade, here's a 4Runner that has niteshaded corners & signals. I could always order some more clear corners and niteshade them.

Rear tails must reflect red when other light hits them even when not on so you can be seen while parked so blacking them out too much could lead to a problem.

See now that looks good! that is what you should do!

Though don't do the tails, you just spent all the $$$$ on the led tails, don't take a chance on breaking them.

with the niteshades it never really turns black, its just a very deep hue of maroon. im sure you could put a whole can on them and make it black but
mine are clearly red if your staring at them in the sun, but the idea is to be within local laws and safety regulations. just dont go overboard with it

Yeah, that's my plan with my tails since a few coats of tint would look so much better.

Yea I am not diggin my amber corners that much either on my black headlights. What was the easiest way to align your headlights or did you even mess with it.

Haven't messed with them yet, but I plan on doing it soon. When I do fix the problem, I'll be sure to make thread about when I do.
