Anyone with a Yakima Rack...

Hey anyone with a Yak Rack, if you have offroad lights on them using the Yakima mounts, will those mounts work with just regular Yak crossbars? I wanted to mount some to my rear rack for more lighting when backing up.

The mounts I have on my Yak rack are made for the Load Warrior.
However...when I first got my rack and my Hella 500s, I did not yet have the Yak light mounts as seen on my rack page.

I messed around by putting the lights up there with the Yakima Snap A Rounds, and it worked.

Not sure how stable they would be, but it will work.

Take a look at this guy's write-up.

He has the same rack I do, but he used some Radio Shack CB antenna mounts for the lights.

My brackets I have could work on just a single crossbar, but there really wouldn't be any support for the bottom of it in your situation.

So you have 3 options here it looks like.
But the Snap A Rounds will work. I drove with mine mounted to them for a few days before the brackets I run now came in the mail.
