I recieved my Amsoil a few days ago, put it in and reset the fuse. All I can say is that was a mistake to reset the fuse. It really was. I dont have that extra power now like I said earlier. I cant skid out, and I dont get that scream when going up high rpms. I could put the deckplate back in along with the stock air filter and put the silencer boxes back in and reset the fuse but this is too much to do just for more power. I understand after a thousand miles or so the computer will reset itself. Oh well, I am still fine with the little power boost. Okay enough of me rambling.

Dude, the deckplate is 5HP, not 50. The lack of "skidding out" has nothing to do with pulling the EFI fuse or the deckplate. The engine will learn the new flow anyway. Pulling the EFI fuse just speeds up the process.

I know what you are saying, and I disagree with you. Pulling the fuse only speeds up the process of the ECU "learning" the new flows. There would never be enough of a power difference to break the tires loose vs. not breaking them loose.
Besides, pulling the fuse has never been proven to work, its just a habit at this point.
I am not trying to flame here. I believe you if you say you can or cant break the tires loose. All I am saying is that the chances of it being the fuse are very unlikely.

No, unless the malfunction is directly related to the mod itself.
They are both very easy to return to stock, so personally I would do just that before making any warranty inquiry.

I did the deckplate mod over the weekend and absolutely love it. Slight power gains.. lot better sound. Here are a few things that will alter your power:
Hot days. If the temperature is rather hot, you won't get as much oxygen in your engine, and you will notice slight decreases in power. What comes with hot days is airconditioning. That will definitely cause your engine to drag. As 96 runner said, pulling a fuse and puting it back in is not going to instantly reprogram your computer. It needs time to aclimate to the information it's receiving. Besides, getting sideways is just going to buy you tires faster...
