99 4wd 3.4 4Runner Air Fuel Sensor ?
First post...
The above vehicle is throwing multiple codes indicating a bad front Air Fuel sensor. At 125,000 on the original, I can easily accept that I need to replace it.
When I look online with vehicle specifics, I get flooded with multiple sensors that vary wildly in price. Some don't even look appropriate. Is it expecting too much to put in my vehicle specs and be shown a set of aftermarket parts that will work? Is there a site that I should go for parts that would serve up a menu of sensors that would definately work?
Any advice would help. Especially if you've done the same thing and have brands and part numbers!
Thanks!

URD carries oxygen sensors, and has a very long applications list. You'll need to know whether your 4Runner is a "cali-spec" or not though...

Unfotunately, I think a large number of '99 4Runners sold outside of California were still cali-spec... The easiest way for you to tell I think is if you have 1 or 2 catalytic converters.

in a '98 4Runner you will have a narrow-band oxygen sensor like mine, and it's right before the catalytic converter in the exhaust pipe. It's very easy to get to. Some later year cali-Spec 4Runners (1999-2002) have an oxygen sensor that's difficult to get to.
