20R, 21R & the 22R are brother engines.
3RZ's and 2RZ's are both twin-cam balanced shaft motors.
A different block design compared to the 22R's.

They're great engines. the 3RZ pack a little more HP than the 3.0 V/6's.

thats a really good price for both tacoma and 4-runner.
if you can't decide, buy both!

well, i took the 4runner out and fell in love. good pick up getting on the highway, pretty decent power going uphill, everything seemed real tight. only real negative is the 3 inch section on each front wheel well where rocks have hit, chipping the paint off, and a couple other little rock dings near the back. no dents cept for a miniscule one on the rear rt corner of rear bumper. motor is extremely clean, and pretty quiet.
anyhow. tomorrow i close on it. hopefully nothing happens between now and then. i'll post up some photos when i get everything squared away.
thanks all for your help.

Congrats dude, The 2.7 in a runner makes the runner feel a bit heavy, but (with the 5speed) if you wind up itll merge the highway and go fast easily...

Have fun with the truck, Awaiting pics

Welcome to YotaTech Btw !!
