Well, kinda'. I organized a "dyno day" around these parts (got us a discount!) and it was during the time I had the SMT and was still N/A. The good thing that came out of it was a dyno sheet that showed a 5hp increase across the board from the deckplate mod. The bummer was that the operator shut me down for being too lean while I was A/Bing the SMT and my spark kicker.

Yeup... Gotta burn fuel to make power. In my case, I increased fuel flow around 4%, which is about .68mpg against my "normal" of that era of 17mpg.

Even getting a piggyback like the smt6 that can control fuel and timing will yield some power increase it depends on the engine but I have seen up to 20hp increase
I plan to try doing this on my dads 93 4runner with the 3vz-e 3.slow

the 3vze is easy bigger injectors upgrade your fuel lines from tank with -6an and cleanable filter on outside of framerail with a banjo bolt adaptor straight to the fuel pressure valve on the rear of the passenger side rail and a egr/pair delete and I’ve honestly gained over 100whp in my 91’ 3vze! I’d say almost as fast as a stock 3.4 which I had in my 96’ Tacoma. But once I put bigger injectors in and bigger wires and k&N intake that 96’ was a force to be reckoned with! I’m bout to start again cause I’m in the way to buy a 99’ 4Runner 3.4l! Next will be a 2jz swapped 91’ short box 2nd single cab pickup with 4link and cage and awd if I can get it out of a newer Toyota!
