2nd gen Rear Coil Isolators?

I was just wondering on what the terminology is for the rubber insulator on the BOTTOM of the rear coils on a 2nd gen. I recently replaced my coils and noticed that they are in sub par condition. Energy supsension has something that looks like them called coil spring isolators. Any ideas/input on good replacements for these? thanks

Bump to a very old thread but im just curious have you found a good poly upgrade or other replacements for yours? Mine are completly shot to the point of not doing much with my 5" springs and thinking ill just remove whats left of mine all together. Im having a helluva time trying to get opinions on any negative drawbacks of not using them

That was an old thread. I have some experience with the rubber coil isolators....they isolate the road vibrations from the steering wheel and such. If you go to poly, which is a harder material, then you may feel road vibs. This was the case with a Jeep TJ I once had and replacing the front rubber isolators with poly resulted in the road vibs being felt in the steering wheel. I ended up putting the rubber under the poly and all was ok after that.

Thanks for the input! At this point, im just wondering if it would really hurt anything i guess to run the coils without any isolators.... They are just in the rear and i really dont care about the noise which is what seems to be the only thing they are for...This is my DD but im used to my pickup custom on 40s that dont ride exactly so smooth lol. I guess im just wondering if anyone has noticed any major chafing or significant wear without using them or other negative drawbacks to not using them....
