The 22's are on...more pics tomorrow
Hey all-
Well love em or hate em, they are on the runner. The guy who did the black powder coat did a killer job. We left the lip chrome (the whole wheel was chrome) and the center cap chrome (plastic obviously cant take the heat). The damn things are just huge...make my 315's(35's) look small, even though the new 325/50R22's only measure a little larger at 34.7 x 12.7 inches. I will get some more pics tomorrow during the day...time for some 17-18" discs now...
Let the flaming begin...

the big wheels are not my thing, but its your rig and thats all that matters, what you like, i guess that I'm just an off road only guy and would have no use for those size of wheels, but i do like the powder coating, it gives them a unique quality, not just all polished or chrome like everyone i see with the big wheels ( my definition of big is anything over 16")

Well, I knew this thread would have no problem stirring up a storm... I myself am still not sure about em, i was gonna go 20's, but i figured i may as well go as big as i can since those a/t tires just came out after debuting at SEMA on a couple lifted rigs...
Keep the controversy flowin...I think you all will have a much different perspective after seeing them in the light...good or bad, i dont know

Looks like they could bend some if you wheel them real hard. I like the looks of them though, how come no spinners? They are UNIQUE.... seriously.

Thanks guys..."unique" was all i was lookin for. you see 33's and 35's on a 15/16 inch wheel all day long, just wanted to mix up the gene pool a little. The next step will be 18" discs, and completing the stereo...and the stereo is gonna make the wheels look like plastic hub caps...none of it is rational to say the least, but have you ever seen a runner with subs in every door, and 10" subs under the front seats...i sure havent, but we all will soon.
Knock me all ya want, I'm with you all regardless...peace.

Not so sure about those. But, you wheel it, so I won't say nothing bad. Wish I had have the dough to put into mine, that you seem to put into yours. I do like the style and powdercoat on the rims, just not sure about the size.
