2003 Taco doublecab SC w/TRD Cat Back dyno result
Hello, everyone. New to this forum. I just got back from my dyno run on my Taco. I am pulling 207.9 RWHP and 231.5 TQ with 275/45/20 tires along with stock ECU and tranny. All my friends were surprised with the result. What about you guys? The four pulls were as follow:
#1 207.9 RWHP / 231.5 TQ
#2 207.5 RWHP / 231.0 TQ
#3 202.4 RWHP / 223.7 TQ
#4 207.5 RWHP / 231.2 TQ

I plan to get some dyno time soon on my new '97, but to be honest those numbers seem a tad low. Gadget is pushing 250 rwhp. I'm not sure of others and myself, but I'm hoping with water injection and 9 psi pulley to break the 300 rwhp barrier.

I agree that seems a bit low. TRD says that the blower will push the hp up to 265. I know that can't be completely reliable, but I would think it should be at least close to what it actually achieves. If not they would have problems. Even if 265 was crank hp, there shouldn't be 58hp loss. That's way more than 15%...

Hummmm... Truck Trend did a test with a superchargered S-runner, in comparison with a Ford Lightning and a Dodge Dakota R/T and here are the dyno results:
Dakota R/T 154.7 RWHP / 200.3 TQ
Ford SVT 303.4 RWHP / 350.1 TQ
TRD S-Runner 180.8 RWHP / 218.5 TQ

What should the supercharged 3.4L, without any other mods, be putting out?

I'm sorry to have mentioned Gadget's info. He's running larger fuel pump, injectors, and piggy-back computer, not to mention some other things, I'm sure. It's not a good comparison. Sorry!
