Hey all long time reader, first time poster. I'm having a major oil leak issue with the oil filter bracket on my 96 3rz 4runner. I shouldn't say it's a leak, more like a small stream of oil coming out when the motor is running. Obviously, it now parked while I trouble shoot it. I removed the entire oil filter bracket from the block and replaced the bell shaped ring. After replacing the ring it's still leaking like crazy after start up. What I have noticed is that the oil is pooling on top of the bracket and oil cooler, then running down the side. I for the life of me can't think what would cause the oil leak in that location. Also, there is no oil running down the block where it is bolted in place. The leak is on the lip above where the oil cooler placed.
