@trdboy1 thanks for the awesome idea!!! I ordered a mesh grill last week and I wanted some lights behind it...
@michalik_piotr I just found a pair of those hella black 500's on ebay... thinkin I might make me a purchase...

It's better to do both lights and mesh at one time...
TRDboy1, is there a link on how you installed your lights behind the grill?!! what you mounted them to, etc... I'm goin by cvlighthouse's install guide on the grill... still, it looks like it should be simple enough... just a little time consuming... I'll post pics once I get it all hooked up... I also just ordered TRD FJ Cruiser Trail Team Black wheels... won't have them til first week of July tho...

I don't have any pics or write ups here but if u go to ttora.com try to search my profile trdboy1 I have pics of install almost step by step of what I did. I used unistrut L brackets from home depot they r like a dollar apiece and I bolted it to the the lip right above the radiator I hope the pics help if not message me if u have any questions. The pics in my profile go in reverse don't know why haha

the first concern I have is 'bending' the hood latch... is there a close up pic of how you did this?!! Once the Mesh Grill is installed, the latch will have to be moved up, right?!! If you have a pic of this, that would be great! I'm more of a visual learner... not sure if it makes a difference or not, but I have an '03 Taco...

No I didn't have to bend the hood latch or anything mine sits perfect u do loose the that feature to use because the slots u stick ur fingers through r gone so now when u pop ur hood u have to slide ur finger through that top crack and unlatch the hook with ur finger only down side but its not to big of a hassle
