Aussie locker is installed.
Did an an oil change and coolant flush yesterday!
Gonna go wash her today, then soon some off-roading picks!

I have some newb questions for you on the locker
hope you can help me out. Did you install Aussie lockers in the front and rear or just the rear? Not sure how the Aussie locker works tried to read up on their site but it just talks about the quality and not really how it works. Will these only work with manual hubs? Also does it lock 100% of the time when installed?

Okay,
Did i lock the front and rear? No, just the rear.
How does the Aussie locker work? Its all mechanical, no buttons or on/off button.
And you can install it into any differential, and it will work (as long as the Aussie locker is made for that car and diff of course.). Meaning this: NO you do Not need manual hubs for the Aussie locker to work.
Is it always locked? It does not lock the rear differential at all times, as long as you keep a somewhat consistent speed around a corner (i.e. don't down shift while making a 90 degree turn), and be steady, it wont chirp or lock up on you. But once it feels like its loosing traction at any time, it will lock.
Here is a full out write up that helped with my decision and helped understand how to do it myself, although i had it installed by a shop, to insure my safety and those of which around me, and it was really cheap.

Story time: so i just went down the street to a nice little dirt hill, that i couldnt get up over unless i floored it and nearly jumped, but today, i crawled up it at around 1500 rpms, and it was the most amazing justification of a locker. YAY

Check engine light decided to make itself visible more and more in the recent past, i pulled a 25 code, lean exhaust. sooo... gonna do a fuel filter, O2 censor, and i really am hoping its not the fuel/air ratio being twacked out... because the stealership are the only people i know who could adjust that, even if possible... and its kinda starting to "lope" and decrease idle. update: its not a twenty five i read it wrong. Its a 2 and a 5, a 5 which is the o2 censor usually trips the air mass flow censor as the fault, so i will get one, put it in and we will be back on to happy building

very good post about the lockers man but just one thing to add if you dont have locking hubs in the front it can make it a lil harder to steer but if you have locking hubs you wont feel it until you lock the hubs. and man you got me wanting lockers even more!!! lol
