Damn I wish I wouldve caught this thread sooner. The second gen looks sick, its still sad about your 1st gen though. As much as I love my second gen theres just something extra cool about locked and lifted 1st gen

It's just tedious as hell. Took 6 guys to lift the single cab and roll the new chassis under it. FYI.
Nice job on the 2nd gen body swap! Awesome! Man that thing is tall tho, I'm running 37's as well and I'm almost a year with it with the height and solid axle and im still not used to it at all. Love it but damn terrified of flopping, haha. Seems quite stable tho but can't really compare a single cab pickup to a 2nd gen runner. I'm a lot lighter!
I'm removing the bed, exo-caging the cab and building a new flatbed in July. Can't wait! I've had the truck offcamber atleast 35 degree's [and thats flat footed, not flexed, so less stable] over water (terrifiying) twice now in the same spot, lil different approaches and it felt unstable (mental) but never once felt real light like it was "almost" gonna go over.
heh, an old pic right after the SAS (on 33x10.5 KM2's). The rear is still stock, will be swapped out in july as well.
I'm not sure how much further you can go before flopping. Softer rear suspension and broken in front would help in this situation. Which the front is very well settled now almost a year later.

ya, i wish i was a little lower:/ but the hieght has definately come in handy when clearing obstacles like logs and rocks, i have yet to get high centered, not that thats a big issue, but it is an issue.
with the new body, i can definately feel it being more top heavy, so im going to chop the rear top and maybe bob it also.
any thoughts or comments on the bob idea?
