yep i know the fan clutch doesn't solve the problem and it will hurt millage a bit, but its better that its on and running cooler than not working at all lol. So i would rather get worse millage and have it run cooler. yes its not a fix for the overheating problem, it still gets warm when sitting at idle for too long. im getting a new water pump as soon as my buddy buys my truck in a week and a half. Im also not driving the runner rightnow so its not getting hurt being ran with the problem.

im sure they are 4.56's, truck has the big tire package stock and a 5spd. my truck has 4.10's with 31's, the runner has 31's too and the gears are much shorter in comparison. I will grab the vin next time im over at the shop .

Im really thinking i might just Do the 5vzfe swap ASAP as im not sure on trusting this beatin 3vze lol. its only been in the red hot spot once and that was over a year ago and the HG is still in one piece so it might hold. But im not sure i want to deal with it if it blows un expected in the middle of the winter lmao. i emailed a couple guys about some decent 3.4's so if i get one i think im just going to do the swap to be safe. and instead of buying the water pump and timing belt for the 3vze, i could put it on the 5vzfe

What do you think and thanks for the help

hey so update. So i found a 3.4 with everything i will need for about 1000 bucks but... he doesnt have a 5spd wiring harness or ecu so its useless ... so another guy contacts me saying $2000 and he has everything. too much for me. so im just getting tired of this running around with this stupid expensive 3.4 lol So now im thinking run the 3vze and look for a chev 4.3 vortec cheap engine, tons of parts, more torque than the 3.4 . But before that happens im going to keep the 3vze, new water pump, timing belt, flush all fluids, do valve cover gaskets. So after that is settled and im happy with how it runs for now. im going to SAS yep mak92 i changed my mind again hehehehe. going to put money into my suspension first like most do. the old 3vze runs goo enough to last me a little longer. it still runs great like i was driving it and just beating on it! like 5000rpm shifts and it pulls decent. so yeah

sofar:
3" tg sas
rear leaf swap, f150's
5.29's, front v6 third if i can get one.
rear aussie.
35" km2's, maybe 37" MTR's (depends if i go 3" or 4" springs),

thats the bare minimum so i can get it rolling and be able to get to a job lol. after i feal i can start blowing money again, then im going to lock the front, longs, front bumper, rear bumper, sliders will be my first thing btw. Then all focus goes on the engine

So yah kinda pulled a 360 but i have always wanted to SAS and it just make sence . im going to be way happier when im sas'd than on ifs. wish me luck

ps my buddy who is buying my standard cab will be sas'ing at the same time so thats going to be siiick

cheers!!

4runners are legit! i liked my pickup but the 4runner is way more suited for me, extra room, even though its a 3.slow its way more fun than a 22re haha.

if i could just sell my truck then i could build this thing...

Hey! So the HG basically is leaking a bit though it still runs strong it i missing coolant and tge main seal leaks. Sooo me and my buddy are pulling the heads and going too toss some new HG's in after the heads get decked if needed. Then if it runs good and holds coolant i will do the main seal along with a new clutch and drive err again. Then maybe a 3.4 next year? See how well the engine holds out the winter.

Anyways if that works out and she runs, i have some 33" km1s on black steelies he is giving me and i have my 4" ifs lift im tossing in. Then i will grab some 35" toyo muds later and re gear, possibley even sas by next summer depending on how i like the ifs lift :S. Thats all im promissing for now lol dont want too get too far ahead rightnow.

Will be starting the engine fix in a week ish so stay tuned. Yes i will try and bring pics
