Will you be partaking in Toyota fest 2015 in long beach CA next year? We can be twins.

You'll be the older one of course
Absolutely! It is yours and you can do with it as you please! Sometimes people get upset when they see our DeLorean which is converted to a very screen accurate time machine. We are still nice and respectful but tell people like it is. We do what makes us happy with ours cars and that is that. Cars are fun and if they aren't then you're not doing it right lol! I don't think we are making the fest as it is so far away but it sounds like it is gonna be great! The younger yota should do very well! We are definitely coming west for the WGB 30th anniversary, not gonna miss that!

You guys ever try and track down the first truck from BTTF? I read it was totaled or something like that?

From what I understand, the truck from the first movie was raffled off in a joint contest sponsored by Toyota and Universal Studios. The winner of the truck (I heard it came here to the East Coast but no evidence) took delivery and subsequently totaled it. Hence the reason they needed to find another (our) truck for the making of Back to the Future II and III. I would love to find out more information if anyone out there has it!

Too bad is right! If anyone ever came up with a VIN it would be the best start! Our VIN was recorded in a few spots including a work invoice from when all of the modifications were done to turn it into "Marty's" truck.
