This is one of my favorite builds ever! Maybe I missed another thread but a few questions for you if you don't mind. What seats are those? And I see the zombie hunter sticker, are you also a big shooter?

The passengers seat is from a Ford Ranger, don't remember the year..I cut and rewelded the brackets, lowering them about an inch and a half..

The drivers seat is a Rocarro (maybe spelled wrong) Police prototype...I got it from a friend of mine several years ago. He used to sell light bars and other patrol car equipment..This is the 3rd or 4th truck that has had this seat in it...My butt has grown very comfortable in it.....

And yes........

Nice. I am looking for low profile seats like that, however it doesn't sound like I will be finding any prototypes such as that one any time soon!

I was into offroading when I was younger, and I recently started building the toyota up, but guns are really my passion. I shoot long range rifle mostly, however enjoy carbine courses, and pistol shooting as well. I have quite a few class 3 toys, and enjoy building guns from the ground up.

Thanks again for the info!

For parking at work.......Hey don't laugh, nothing is worse than driving home from work with a wet a$$....lol

I also finished organizing the bed, I mounted a shovel and axe..I got the hangers from Lowe's, had to rig them a little and the tools are held in place with velcro straps...It works, but I'm not really happy with the way it looks..I need to find some mounts designed for this...Any ideas????

I also put some anchors in for my cooler..

I had to make some custom brackets for my CB mount, so I could open the console (ammo can) and the plug in would clear the floor. Cabnet slides worked..

Then I had a thought, what if I get caught in the rain again?????? so I made a cover.

After I test fitted the cover, I thought it would make a good arm rest....I had one from one of my old patrol cars, sooo...

I will recover it when I do the top and doors..Which I hope to do this weekend if I don't get OT...

Got tired of having no rear view mirrors and having a Trooper stare me down the other day, so I yodarigged this for the time being....

I really like the color of your truck. I kinda wanna paint my truck the same color since I have black wheels on order for it. Not digging the white on my truck to much. Have you had any problems with the rattle can paint fading? Mine is out in the sun all day and I wonder how it would hold up to UV.

So far, no fading... But I did get a bit of trail pinstriping.....

I finally got to wheel it a bit, went on a local trail, Buzzards Bluff, had a BLAST..I will post some pictures later.. I also finished the top..It came out pretty good, I think...

As promised some pics....

Going in....aka, Snorkel test...

Not stuck, had a (as my buddy put it) PRETTY FIRE....

On the other side...

Buckled the right rear spring, not sure how, but it straighted it self out...Going to replace all 4 this winter....Just haven't decided with what yet.

On the Bluff, ya can see for miles and miles, awesome view..

The fire was caused by the altenator harness..burnt to a crisp.. But the truck made it home..

All in all it was a great afternoon of wheeling, ca't wait to go again.

I got the top finished this weekend....I think it came out pretty good, considering I had no clue as to what I was doing....

Drove it to work today, no flapping at all....I was worried about that.

Whats wheeling if you don't break something at least once. The learning/fun process is awesome, that most people will never experience in their lifetime. Great work........

I was buzzing down the road yesterday at about 60mph when the truck started growling...Let off the gas and the growl stopped.. Well about a half mile later the truck locked up and started bouncing all over the place....Damn near rolled...I got stopped looked under the truck, but couldn't see any thing obvious....Tried to get it moving, NOTHING but a lot of GROWLING and clanking..Pulled the T-case into 4 high and the truck would move, barely...Limped it to my fathers house (was heading there) then drug it home last night...Started to tear it down...when I pulled the front shaft, oil started pouring out of the front yoke on the t-case....Haven't finished pulling the trans out yet...

Anyone ever had a transfer case crap out??? I have had 10 first & second gen trucks and have never had a problem with the transfer cases......
