Amazing work on the cab!

I wish I had a garage to take my cab off and fix the floors/rockers right...working outside sucks. I'm anxious to see what the tranny hump looks like in metal form

if you got that console, you could make everything electric, just put a little motor on everything that you would move!

ultimate slacker!

Yay, floor building. So just the sheetmetal with some ribs is enough for proper support? I had visions of tubular steel subframes and such. Watching intently anyway

original floor is 16G with "corragations" .. with strategic spots for bracing .. no tubular structure .

instead of this 16G , I'm using 14G and I am going to add bracing to the inside .. I have one rear brace going in the rear undernieth , where the cab meets the back 1/2 , which will also be supported , via cab mounts . corragations , or bead rolls will also be added ..

Ah, I see. The builds I've seen on TV have used 18ga or thinner, 14ga would be plenty strong in comparison. So for seat mounts, are you going to tie them into the body mounts as well?

Thanks for all the info by the way!

not into the body mounts , but like the original , there will be a crossmember for the front of the seat mount , which will also be a strengthener , and then plated on the bottom/underside of the floor . also , before some one asks , YES , the seat belt anchors will also be plated .

so more work on the tunnel , and a solution to the cab floor , and Trekker tub connection .....

so now with the basic "mock up" of the floor and tunnel , I can now cut the floor of the tub and build a deeper floor for the rear seat passengers

and starting a new fiberglass tunnel (templating from my new tunnel)

one issue , maybe ............ I cant find anyone in our town with a plenishing hammer .. so no floor corragations .. I guess we'll see how it goes .
