any body rebuild 4wheeler engines on east coast?
I just picked up a Yamaha Timberwolf from a friend for REALLY cheap but i know the top end as well as the carb needs to be rebuilt. The carb i can handle myself. Any of yall east coasties no how to rebuild the top end (replace piston rings, maybe do some cylinder work) and want to make some money?? I know i cant do it myslef and figured i would offer the job up to my fellow yotatech members before i take it to the stealership and get reamed out the arse. If yall can't do it, do yall know of any good machine shops or would the dealership be the best bet?
Thanks

Yeah, grab a Clymer shop manual, and give yourself a good week. Timberwolves arent bad, should be single cylinder 250 SOHV, SOHC, air cooled, not terrible to tear into. Ive done 4 strokes before, and over-all they arent bad, granted a 2 stroke is much much easier, but if you can re-build a carb, you shouldnt have much trouble doing this. It's a good learning experience, and you'll save a few bucks. Thats why I love my 4wheelers, cause it's always something I can fix myself.
