WTB: 1st gen 4runner in FL/GA
Looking for a 1st gen 4runner in the FL or GA area. Must be 4cyl and man trans. Hoping to find something with a recently rebuilt motor, must be in running condition, this will make a 100+ mile round trip drive daily. Willing to pay well for the right truck. PM with any leads or email me. Thanks!

Thanks for the responses guys. Whitetaco, sorry man, I already saw your rig and was really tempted but I am pretty set on a manual tranny. Insane, I am looking for something that is already running, I already have an 87 4runner that needs work, I am trying to get rid of that and get something that is already done and running.

toyotallymad, do you have any pics? I would like some more info about your rig. Mine is kinda a story. I bought it with a blown engine and planned on putting a new engine in it, but ended up putting a junkyard motor in it due to finances. 3 weeks after I spent $1300 putting a junkyard motor in it ($500 for the motor and $700 in labor), the headgasket blew. I tore down the whole top end of the engine, but then in talking around to everyone I was told it would prolly be better to rebuild the motor since it knocked for a few seconds the last time it ran when the headgasket blew. So I planned on doing that, I even put a deposit down with a machine shop to build a motor for me, but then I came into some money. The one I have is not in that great of shape, so I figured I would just buy a different one that is already is good shape and running instead of going through the hassle and money of rebuilding the one I have.
