Optima Red Top Spacer/ Height Adjuster/ Cover
I have 2 yellow Optima Battery spacers / height adjusters / covers for sale.
They are yellow but they fit any red top/yellow top. It is for the 34 line. These will give you the boost needed to fit in your toyota.
I bought these this week, but I just found a way to adjust the lever by putting wood on top of the battery. So why screw with something that works right?
They are unbranded, but they will fit. I'm not sure if Optima makes them.
One of them has been taken out of its shrink wrap so I can try it on my battery and it does indeed work and fit. Other one is still in original shrink wrap.
They are made of hard plastic. Please post here or e-mail me at nviejep@gmail.com if interested. I live in San Francisco and can ship.

These spacers aren't too expensive, me shipping them back across the country would be a good moneys lost. If I can't sell them here, I'll probably just keep it for the future when I want to get a new optima battery or when I get unlazy. And then again, some of my friends have toyotas so hell might give it to them.

Here are the pictures. First one is of the bubble wrapped one.
Second two pictures are one of the one that was opened and tried on top of my battery. Just to make sure it fits.

Do you know if the spacer will fit on the bottom of the battery? I don't really want to cover the top of the battery for access reasons. Let me know.
Thanks,
Doug

It will clip to the bottom of the battery. I guarantee that or your money back. Judging from where I bought them, they said the raise is 1.25 inches.

Email me at: manofsteele2003@yahoo.com
I'm going to get an Optima battery soon and I heard these are not in production anymore.

Optima Spacers
I don't mean to hi-jack this thread but.... I just (yesterday) put in a Optima 34R in my '02 4Runner. I used the spacer on top (red) and it worked fine. However, I already had Optima send me two of the yellow spacers. I thought the yellow spacers were the old style and now the 34 series come with the new and improved red spacer. If I am wrong please let me know. My battery set-up is working, so if anyone still needs a yellow spacer just let me know.
