88 Toyota Ext - 3.4L Swap EXO SAS 35s wheeler/DD NJ
$500 PRICE DROP TO $4K
Really hesitant about this, but I'm commuting more and more and can't justify DD my Toy any longer. Toss in a doubler, some longs and you will have a great wheeler. Some quick specs:
88 Toyota extended cab (some ~200k on the body)
12" bed bob
Rattle canned primer
Minimal EXO cage out of 1.75x.120 DOM
Custom front/rear bumpers
Smittybuild winch w/ synthetic line
3.4L Swap out of a 97 4runner (~80k on motor)
Trail gear TC PS pump w/ HUGE reservoir filter combo (stupid smooth steering)
R150 5spd w/ stock chain drive Tcase
Tom Woods rear shaft
Square tube front shaft
Rear springs up front w/ custom YJ mix pack
56" Ford springs in the rear
83 front axle - 5.29 open, stock shafts, V6 calipers, IFS hubs ~3" wider, Longfield IFS locking hubs
Trail Gear Highsteer
88 rear axle - v6 5.29 welded, stock shafts, disk brakes w/ toy calipers
35" BFG KM2 MTs w/ ~60% left, older MT spare w/ 95% on it
Front Fox remote reservoir shocks
Rear Walker remote reservoir shock (only 1, and 1 doetshtech junker)
Supra master cylinder w/ Prop Valve for 4 wheel disk
Leather seats (driver side stitching is broken easy fix)
Tuffy Locking Center Console
4" HID front lights
Vision X tantrum Rock lights (8 in total under the chassis)
The bad:
Truck was in an offroad related roll over a few thousand miles ago. I knocked the cab back to shape and installed a new windshield, it leaks a little. As seen in the pics this truck has been wheeled and has the dents/dings to show it. The Trail Gear PS pump leaks a little, not much but it does. Steering box is also leaking. Driver seat is ripped. No carpets. Will need front leaf spring bushings soon, was gonna throw in Davez updated shackles. Probably should throw on a hood scoop.
The good:
The 3.4L pulls REALLY strong. Swap was done by me and has been flawless from the first time I fired it up. The truck is a bit overgeared but still does 70 miles per hour down the freeway. This was my DD till a week ago and I was doing a 50 mile trip to and from work 5 days a week with no problems. I have lots of spares: axle housings, shafts, transmissions, 3rds + a top shift Tcase to go with the truck. Front and rear flexes really well. Truck sits nice and low, but not stupid low. The truck is originally from Washington State, and is pretty damn rust free. The frame is unbelievably clean and rust free, the cab is in good shape, some minor rust in the bed but would be an easy fix.
Price: $4000 or best REASONABLE offer. Located in NJ 07458 Delivery is an option, just ask. Please email petyamiller@gmail.com for more pics/details as I don't check here that often.

Still have it. I'm away this weekend yet again on business. It would be easiest on me to meet mid week some time, I could drive the truck half way. Let me know.

Well While I would like to do that .
My work day starts no later than 5 am most days are so unpredictable I just never know when the work day is over till I get home.
So I can`t really commit to a day to right at the last moment . Also it would be late enough that you would be in the mass of traffic heading west from the big city.
When I head up to the Oakland area I will give you a call but most days I am up there by 6am and on my way west by 7 am at the latest.
