Pro-comp tires?

Pro-comp tires?
Hey, do any of you people use procomp tires? Specifically the x-terrains? If so, do you have them on another set of wheels, or do you run them on the street? And if on the road, what is your milage running, and are they as bad in the rain as other fairly aggressive tires? www.procomptires.com/xterrain

I don't have any experience with ProComps, but I have heard that the side walls are a little too soft when rock crawling ... but that's just a rumer I heard, I have never seen any while off roading.
If you are considering ProComps you might want to check out www.4wheelparts.com when buying them, because they often have really good sales on ProComp tires such as buy 3 get one free.

I run 32" ProComp MT's, only when I'm wheeling. I have 28" AT's for street use. No experience with the xterrains, sorry. A friend of mine runs 35" MT's, and used to have 33's. I've heard rumors about the thin sidewalls. Until I have enough money to cut open a few tires and look for myself, I'm not going to worry about it.
4wheelparts does have 4 for 3 sales, but they jack up the price a little, so it almost works out to be the same price. Maybe you can get free shipping though. And their balancing sucks....

Related to this I was considering getting the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R whenever my Wrangler RT/S needs replacing. What is the lift span of a tire like this vs. the RT/S? Is it really that much louder with the MT/R's? Just wondering since my wife and I take my rig when we travel.
