had a set of 33x13.5s they are a decent tire, terrible in reverse, not good in the snow, mud and rock they are the best in, there are better tires out there though

Have a set of 31x10.5 on my truck which is a weekend wheeler/dd. I really like them and they're pretty good on the road. I have a trip from NJ to CA on them in addition to about 4000 miles otherwise and they are wearing and staying in balance great. Never used them in the snow or rock. Do good in the mud, dig in a lot in the sand.

Have them mount the front tires forwards and mount the back tires backwards. That will help with some of the "terrible in reverse" issues.

So, do you plan on buying the Bias Ply ones or Radials?
I have had one set of 31x10.5x15 Radials and two sets of 33x12.5x15 Radials. I like them alot and have had them in mud, snow, rocks, etc. They do very well and hold a bead well at low pressure. I will continue to buy these tires. The only thing I notice is they get rougher on the road at higher mileage, but who cares, they are a mudder right?

if your wanting a HIGH traction tire...then go with the 33"13.50" super swamper LTB...only $150 a piece...way cheaper than the baja claws i believe...but if your wanting mileage out of them...then idk...i havent ever had a set...but if i end up getting some kind of lift...i will definately get the LTB's as i love my TSL's...oops....sorry..i didnt see you said 35"13.50...my bad...

I've had 2 sets of 33x12.50 awesome traction in the mud, sand, and dirt hills around here, loud as all hell on pavement. I got around 30k out of both sets with pretty regular rotates

The Claws suck ass in reverse and on snow.. Just make sure you can either 1, make it through where you want to go and 2, make sure there's no snow.... I had one set, never again man, never again....
Id compare them to a thornbird, absolutly useless but look cool.... There's my 2 pennies, spend them wisely....

For the money that one individual pays for them, yes, they are useless.. They are both terrible tires.. but like i said, thats my 2 pennies.... Oh, quite a few others too, See i sell quite a few sets of tires.. my least happy customer is the thornbird customer and the claw customer.... I tried to warn them tho!

I would completely disagree, which is why I have had three sets. I have outperformed BFG's, MTR's, and various Swampers on alot of different terrain. Also, in the snow I dont find them too bad, granted I don't do alot of snow wheeling. IMO, they are not bad tires.

wouldn't this just make it tend to dig in more when trying to drive around in 2wd???
i think it would...the only time i see mounting baja claws backwards making sense is for the rocks, but we all know there are much better rock-crawling tires out there...however, like someone stated above, i'd go with something like the LTB, as they're good tires for a good price...

LTB's ride horrible on the road my buddy had a set for about 2 months and got rid of them as quick as possible, great off the road though. I just got a set of 35" baja claws and they are as quiet as my procomp a/t's were. PS they are incredible in the dirt/mud/rock/sand I'll never buy a different tire again.
