I've been considering getting the Bridgestone Revo and am impressed with the ratings from Tirerack and the little (very little) feedback I've been able to get. 99% of my driving is backroad and highway in some hilly terrain and need something decent for snow but also a good performer in all other areas (wet, dry, wear, noise). The Dueler H/T 689's on my 4Runner suck BIG TIME, period. And they only have 23k miles on 'em and are near the wear bars!:mad:

There is the Dueler A/T Revo, but I've also seen a Turanza Revo (which dosn't have very impressive ratings).

Lastly, how much have you paid (for those of you that have the Dueler A/T Revo)? Sears gave me a price of just over $700:eek:
and NTB (aren't they the same as Sears?) gave me a price of about $650. I can get them from Tirerack and have them mounted w/lifetime balancing for about $590.

I was going to get the Dueler AT REVO....funny thing is in Canada there is no REVO stuff in the market....(But the Turanza Revo I saw that not good rated)

At the end, I got the Michelin Cross Terrain SUV 275/70R/16. I paid $800 CDN = $511.38 USD
Here is my long story.

Other shop quoted me for the Dueler AT ( Not Revo) $190 CDN/$121.46USD per tire.

Lastly I think both Dueler AT/ REVO and Michelin Cross Terrain SUV are good.

Here in Vancouver has not snow yet but will see How Michelin Cross Terrain SUV perform. And I also want to see ur experience with ur Dueler AT Revo.

Just a note of Caution.... I was told by the guy that installed my last tires that off tirerack, who was a manager at Discount Tire, that www.tirerack.com is somehow a subsidiary of the same company that owns Bridgestone, and several others. He said the ratings on Tirerack, and the reviews that are submitted on the site, are normally biased towards there own brands of tires. Just something to consider.

I put the Duller HT on mine, and I have been very happy.

Consumer Reports liked the Bridgestone A/T D693
(second place of those they rated). And some members
here felt the D693 would be reasonable for the type
of driving I do (lots of highway, then gravel/dirt roads,
then some occasional mud).

But..... BS now has the Revo. I can't see them supporting
*two* A/T tires; most likely the D693 will eventually disappear.

A local retailer and TireRack both said that they couldn't
lay hands on P265/70 Revos until April. The former
babbled about container ships and docks; the latter said
that they're flying off the shelves, way popular. Hmmm.

So... I decided to try one size up: P265/75R16 (after more
helpful Yotatech advice :-). I'm on the phone with a
TireRack rep, he's on the computer, nada-nada-nada.

Then, 'all of a sudden', after we've been talkin' tires for
a bit, he spots an order for 12 of the 75s, of which 8 have
been sold. I jump on the last 4 (at $120 per).

And so now I'm happy; at least this long drawn-out process
is finally over

But kinda makes me wonder about that oh-so-fortunate
batch of 12 tires... If you *do* decide to go for the Revos
through TireRack, I'd _really_ like to know exactly how things
play out.

After mulling it over, I ordered the Revos this morning. Tirerack says they expect some in around 1/10 and I'm in on that order. We'll see...:rolleyes:

I'll post my opinion after I have them installed and get some miles on them.

I found some locally for only $10/tire more. I needed them right then as my old tires were litterally bald and I was going up to the snow covered mountians. You will not be dissappointed! I LOVE mine!!
