Bfg Km2's white letters in or out? anyone have pics?
So i ordered 285/75/26 bfg mud terrain km2's last week , i still have 2 weeks to wait ( they replaced them with a new model number and were in production when i ordered) . I am putting them on the stock 5 stars on my 99 silver limited. whats everyone's opinion on the white letters facing out? Do you think it would look too redneck lol? I'm undecided on which way to mount them. Does anyone have any pics of their 4runner with the white letters facing out?

White letters out is a bit dated on some things im my opinion, but I am a dated type person so I mount them out myself. Personal opinion is all that matters here, falls under the "to each their own" catogory.

thats what i was leaning to . I had mud terrain t/a on my fj80 black letter out and never even thought of mounting white letter out , but i saw a pic of a 3rd gen with all terrain t/a's mounted white letter out and thought it looked ok . ill see if i can find it

it just comes down to personal preference like stated above. I honestly like my white letters out, but I also think white letters out look better on vehicles that are white, silver, champagne, etc... you get the gist. The tires I have on my 4Runner now use to be on my jeep which was a dark green, and they looked better whites in. The tire shop that mounted and balanced my rims and tires on my 4Runner actually looked at both options and said whites out looked best, which I agreed.

100% have to agree with JWaldz, light color vehicles i owned had white letters out and vise versa with dark vehicles. But i think white letters look good on chrome wheels, and black on dark painted wheels. So yeah, totally up to you.

i think Jwaldz has found a GREAT shop...most shops wouldn't have paid that much attention to detail..LOL..
hell the shop that mounted my X-terrains didnt realize they were directional until i told em..(i waited till he had gotten em all mounted..LMFAO..just cuz he was pissin me off for other reasons)..of course the guy was new to the automotive industry..and had only balanced and mounted a few sets of tires..(only shop open that day in town......) but after he got em right (it took a couple of tries..HAHAHA) it looked good..and if they would have had white letters..i woulda mounted em out..that'd been nice..lol
