35's

Seriously, why isn't there a good 35" tire that's under 12.5" wide?

need something that wont wear out in a year on the street, wont slice open offroad, balance's, and is agressive. Best I can find is the Swamper Q78(35.5x11.5) but the only thing it has going is its skinny and agressive, they suck ass on road, wear fast, chunk bad offroad basically not what im looking for. The 34x10.50 LTB is the same way, they are the right size.. but wear way too fast on the street.

Im tired of wide tires on my truck, Kills my steering angle, no HP on the street because they weigh so much, they almost rub the rear leafs and I got a decent sized rock caught between the sidewall and spring which sliced the tire nicely. Seems like you cant get a narrow, agressive, radial, 35" tire anywhere.

Id like to see how my 35x13.5 Krawlers compare in width and weight to a 35x12.5 MT/R so far thats the only option I can find for a tire that I can wheel and daily drive comfortably.

This doesn't really answer your question per say, but there are none available most likely because there is no market for a tall skinny tire compared to a fatter tall tire. The majority of people that have 35'' tires that want to run them on the street don't use them off road, rather they buy them for looks, and a tall skinny tire doesn't look "cool" like a big fat tall tire. So since there is a bigger demand for tall fat tires, tire companies don't make the tall skinny tires for the select few that would use them. ( I too would like a skinny 35'' tire to DD and trail)

Not sure of your rim size, but I just checked and the Super Swamper SSR comes in a 35x10.50 for both 15" and 16".

I'm in the same boat, sort of. I want more 33x 10.5 and 9.5" tires. With a couple exceptions, narrow is best performing off road from everything i've read. I think fat tires are mostly for looks, a lot of people buy 4x4 trucks due insecurities about their manhood and want them to look as tough as possible. Why else would someone build a truck like this? This is where the money for after-market product for trucks comes from, thus products are designed for these guys:

I think this would be a better solution for these people:

My 315/75R16's Baja Claw Radials are ~34.6x12.4...does that help? If you want a little more aggressive try the bias plys. I think that Goodyear just came out with a new tire that has a kevlar based sidewall.

Tall skinny tires? How about take off your shocks and sway bars and go drive a bunch of corners, then you'll see why not alot of manufacturers are making them. They are unstable on turns, unless you are a tractor going 10mph. Aspect ratio: sidewall height compared to width.
