Yes 2wd would be much easier. So far I have the radiator in and the top hose on, I have to remove the ac condeser to give me room for an electric fan, and I have to find/make a lower radiator hose .

Did you use the 5.3's radiator? And where you able to get it in there with out having to cut the core support. I know that a little more room can be made if the core support is cut abit.

No not yet. I had some unexpected bills to pay, but I have taken care of that and should be making some progress in the next few weeks.

Props dood. It's nice opening up a thread and not just seeing someone just TALKING about it, but actually DOING it.

I picked up the axle today. I had heard they were 58 inches wide but this one is 61.5" which is perfect for what I needed. Has anyone done a sas with a wagoneer axle and left it spring under axle? I am thinking about using 5" HD springs, for the v8, SUA and 63" chevys in the rear. I dont know if this will work or it will be level but that is what I am thinking right this second.

Looks good, why not switch intakes like the one in the gto and gain some clearance?

I finished the spring over today. The leaf springs should be here this week but since allpro decided to add an extra $100 to my order it will be a few weeks before I can get the spring hanger kit.

I am still waiting on parts to come in. I have ordered a set of 63" chevies, spring hangers for the front and rear, and shackles for the rear. I bought the 63's off of fullsizechevy.com for $50 shipped if anyone else is looking for some.

I put the body lift on today. It looks like the transmission will fit with room to spare.

Finally got the front axle in and the body lift on. I bolted on one of my 38's from my blazer just to see what size tires I need to be looking for. Now its time to start on the rear.
