I'm not running any of the EVAP stuff and can't tell if there's a difference, or not, since I never drove the 3.4 prior to swapping.

If you can get a better pic of the connector, I might be able to identify it. It looks like it might be the EVAP connectors. I'd have to look at my engine, but I'm pretty sure I just left those to up near the firewall.

It will run just fine, but you will need to vent the tank and block the evap ports on the intake........Then you need to deal with the CEL staying "on"...

You can take it off if you'd like but like 97ltd4x4 said you'll have to deal with the CEL on. Your not really going to gain anything by removing it so I'd say leave it on.

knock sensors

The 3.4L has two knock sensors under the intake manifold, same area as the 3.0L.

The most gratifying things about rebuilding an engine are (in no particular order):

1. The engine is essentially new.
2. You know what condition it is in.
3. Everything is CLEAN .

yeah that looks good, does the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose plug straight into the manifold or do i have to hook it up to a vsv? if so which hoses go where on the vsv?
