1998 auto 2wd 3.4, need info on v8 engine swaps?
I am considering keeping this truck but would love to install a 5.0 fox body mustang engine or a carb'd 350 small block. Does anyone make a kit for this and what else is neccessary in the swap like trans and driveline upgrades to handle the extra muscle?

I doubt you'd pass any smog inspection dropping a carbed engine into your '98. In fact, it's probably illegal in most, if not all, states.
