Kajun Mudfest (racing), Amite, LA
Just officially announced!!
The "Kajun Mudfest" will be hosted at the Florida Parishes Arena in Amite, Louisiana on the weekend of March 13-15, 2009.
Will feature 2 side-by-side mud pits and will be a timed event. Truck and ATV classes with nice cash purses.
Entry/admission fees will be kept reasonable, so bring the whole gang!
There are over 30 RV spaces with power and water and acres more for parking and using your own generator (nice showers at the facility). We'll be taking reservations beginning in January for those who plan to stay at least 2 days. 1 day spots will be 1st come, 1st serve, while they last past that.
As soon as more details are "hammered out", I'll post them for you. We'll also have the website up shortly after the New Year with all the info.
Just wanted to get the date out there so you can mark your calendars.

General rules, classes and payouts are up on the arena's website, www.fparena.com. Look under event calendar for our dates, 3/14&15, and click to download. Sorry I'm not so computer savvy as to be able to post a link!:-)
