It depends since it is not supposed to rain until next week, the creeks will most likely be down, but I wouldn't want to risk it. Last time we sumberged the exhaust a couple times which is pretty close to the breather(height wise)
I would still try to get it done. only takes about 20-30 minutes.

Mike, e-mail me your number .. I will give you a number of this guy in Steggar Il, about 30 min south of Chicago. He does exellent work, and hes really reasonable. He's got a really nice custom 1st generation 4Runner, and a stock 98, so hes into 4runners too.
I had another shop put mine in for $160, but I think they maybe the ones that stole my spare (can't say for sure though). So I wouldn't recommend them.

Mike, let me know if you come up with anyone here in Bloomington who does good work. I need someone to drill some holes in my sway bar brackets and to fit some gusset thingies that will allow me to grease my bushings. This transition from hot Texas weather to such a cold winter was hell on my Jeep. At the same time, I figure I might as well get them to put on a 2" Budget Boost. I found someone back in Dallas with a set of basically brand new MT/Rs in 245/75 flavor that I'm going to buy when I drive to visit the fam in a few weeks.
PS, I found two Jeeps to go with me. One from here and one from Madison, WI. Both are lifted- one is a YJ and the Wisconsin one is a ZJ with dual lockers.

Yea howd you guess??? haha. I was interested in the grille guard, but it kinda looked like it got bent up pretty well on the last trail. But I might be still interested if its still in pretty good shape and fits well on my truck. Cuz I also heard you say something about it's crooked or something too... Lemme know.
Also, lemme know how ur mt/r's hold up, cuz I'm in the market for new tires as well, but leaning toward the bfg a/t's. Have fun this weekend you guys, I'll be up there in 3 weeks....Booo. I like it here at home
Shazad I'll email you tonight about the grill guard.

9am at the McDonalds. Sounds like we'll have the following...
3 Jeeps
4 4Runners
1 T100
Excellent! I'm really looking forward to letting my T show her stuff... if she has any. I have been dying to get her out and let her really have fun.
My fiance has some obligations here in town, so I'll be coming in solo.
Any clues on how long it takes and best route from Indy?

Just take I-74 West to the US41/Veedersburg exit. Take US41 north, when it comes to a T-intersection in Attica (there's a gas station on the right side of the road), turn left and look for McD's. It's on the south side of the road. You can't miss anything- Attica is not big enough to get lost.
I have a friend from Chicago who is going to be in Indy and might come with us... but I wouldn't bet on it. He has a lifted 2-door tahoe with a TJM. I'm not sure if the YJ is going to come with me now. But I am fairly certain the ZJ from Wisconsin will- I don't actually know the guy, but he is from JU. Sounds like a pretty built-up truck.
JP (poboy) are you still coming?

hey-
you remember that clank clank noice I was telling you guys about earlier ... I just found out my CV boot was torn, and is filled with mud ... so the axle is gone. I'm still coming, but its going to be light use ... or I might just hop in with someone else.
It doesn't make sense for me to fix it today, and then next week when the coil overs come in, have the guy take everything apart again. So I will just have it fixed next week.
On that note though .... since the axle has to be replaced anyway ... I should be able to bang the ˟˟˟˟ out of it.

hey Rob-
I agree with mike .... get an ARb or a TJM .. don't waste your time or money on a bull bar. I think the TJm he is getting is only like $300, and since your in AZ anyway you could just pick it up from him and not pay the shipping ... just a suggestion
