OH YEAH... well I just got back from 19 hours of lecture while strapped to a chair this weekend for my Real Estate exam crash course. So you can take your snow and mud and waterfalls and desert beauty and great food and awesome people with nice Yotas and blah blah blah!
Are you jealous yet? Well, I was thinking of you guys all weekend and even mentioned my dismay at not being able to go to DV several times to my wife. I wish I could've joined you all. I'm looking forward to the photos and videos that you all will start posting quite soon (hint hint)
Glad you all had fun and I SHOULD be there next year!

unfortunately, i forgot my camera (i am kicking myself right now), but i know chiefiji, my neighbor and calrockx will post pics very soon. definitely the highlight of saturday's trip was finding some mud puddles at the higher elevation. who knew that in death valley, that in addition to desert terrain, you could see snow, rain, water (waterfall to be exact) and mud in a few hours!
this was definitely one of the best trips i've been to. thanks to all the trip organizers, trail leaders, etc, etc.
