What's 1992 4x4 truck worth?

Hey guys new member here, hope this is in right spot. I'm looking at purchasing my first toyota and found one, wondering what it's worth. It's a stock 1992 4x4 extended cab, 3.0, 5spd, zero rust-western Nebraska truck, engine was completely rebuilt, timing belt&water pump done 30k ago, no major dents. Just looking to see if price is reasonable
Thanks guys

It's worth what you are willing to pay for it!

Hard to say, since around here they'd sell for about 3-4k based off condition. But this is California, and you are in Nebraska.

I understand that lol. I'm actually from Wisconsin but have family connections in Nebraska. Thinking I could get it for little less than $2500. Here in Wisconsin they are pretty rusty & are like gold.

Red face

Welcome to Yota Tech!!

Don`t forget to figure the cost of getting it home into the price.

I hope you have seen pictures of the truck.

It is so very easy to get over excited and pay to much for the first Toyota.

Around here in the Northeast, the price of 4Runner of this vintage (or Pickup) is worth its weight in gold. The salt has really killed these trucks so there are very few low mileage, no rust 4runners/pickups left.

A 4Runner with <100k and a pristine body can fetch up to $7,500 or more depending on the buyer....they just don't come around here that often. Even your rusty but mechanically good ones go for $2,500 all day long. The rotted ones that are still drivable good for parts or trail use will still fetch north of a grand.

Find out why the engine was rebuilt. How long ago. And confirm that whomever did the rebuilding knows what the heck they're doing. I'd be surprised if you can get it for less than $3500. Frankly, with the popularity of these old Yotas in Western NE, Colorado, and the like, I'd be surprised if it wasn't more in the $5k range.

^^^^. He's a very good family friend. Doesn't need the truck or the money and I've been bugging him for 3 years about it. I'll let you know what he gives me for a price. Yes the motor was done by very reputable guy

I just bought my '95 4x4 Pickup Xtra Cab DLX (manual) in the Denver area for $5,700. No rust, no body damage, ARB bumpers front and back, brand new 31's, nice wheels, 220K miles. Runs like a champ!

Hope that helps you in some way.
