bucket to split bench in extended cab 97
Having a second kid, we need the middle seat in the front to make room for the occasion when someone is visiting.
Does anyone know if it is possible to swap from the buckets I have to the correct T100 bench? I dont want to mes with shoving some misfitting seat and fabbing up mounts. Having kids blows all my time for stuff like that.
If we can't do that I may just be selling the truck... sigh.

Yeah, a t100 60/40 or a full bench will fit. The worst you will need to is drill holes for the inner mounts. The seats sit perfectly, just possibly different holes. No fabbing mounts or anything.
I just put 97 buckets into a 95 that came with the 60/40 and the only thing needed was drilling two new holes. You will also need the seat belt buckles, as the buckles are part of the bucket seat. I saw a lot of 60/40 on the dismantlers website, so you should be lucky in finding one.
-Best of luck-

The SR5 97 and 98 Bench will bolt right in, the 95-96 bench will need to drill 2 holes on the inside of the seats where the "middle" of the bench bolts down (it is wider). If you stick with the 97/98 its straight bolt up I believe (I saw the holes on floor where bench would go in bucketed 97.
I too have a 95, here is a link after installing buckets
