Sporadic Emergency Brake Light.
Hey,
I am not sure if this has been answered before, but I am on hughes.net, if anyone has had experience with this provider... they know how incredibly frustrating it is to load a webpage...
I bled my brakes a few days ago, but I didn't have any fluid to fill it up. However, the fluid was well above the minimum line. I drove it for the first time since then today and the emergency brake light sporadically comes on and off. I figured that the sensor was going bad, so I unplugged it. The light still sporadically comes on and off. Any ideas as to why?
Thanks for any help

The e-brake light will come on when my brake fluid is low. I know its getting low when the light flashes when I go over bumps. Put some more fluid in and I bet it wont come back on. Brake fluid is like $2 for a small bottle.

Yea, I thought it may have had something to do with bleeding them without adding more brake fluid. I am sure it isn't the ebrake cable being bumped, I unplugged the sensor. I live on mountain roads and run Mickey T Baja claws, so the the ride is a bit bumpy. Thanks for confirming my suspicion that the low fluid could set the brake light off. The flashing light was driving my OCD up the wall. I'll pick some up tomorrow
