Halogen Driving lamps HID conversion
Hi, I am pretty new to yotatech, but I have a question.
Has anyone tried taking an H1 housing my example being a Hella Rallye 4000 driving lamp meant for halogens and converting them to an HID setup. Hella sells their HID Rallye 4k kit for 1200 bucks a pair.

you could build an HID kit for much cheaper, but would the reflector housing be very efficient? Or will I end up with a terrible beam pattern.
Just wondering if anyone has tried this.
Thanks
