Coil and igniter not getting fire

Coil and igniter not getting fire

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's a old common story till it happens to you. There we were flying down the road in our 78 Toyota truck with a 20r motor as simple as can be when out of the blue the motor loses all fire,,,we pull over in the night can't see anything though there was a distinctive different smell as if just a little smoke got out somewhere.. Tow it home, test the coil and igniter in another working 20r (76 car) works fine reinstall etc..looking for where the smoke may have leaked out. Fuses look ok but still thinking about a fusible link or something upstream from the coil assy,,,
Been using the search and doing alot of reading and now posting hopeing someone might just know..you know?

One of the pics shows the truck the other the car

5.11 lbm / 2 minutes = 2.56 lbm / min
2.56 lbm / 8.34 lbm / gal = 0.31 gal / min
1 / 0.31 = 3.26 minutes / gallon

Now having said that,
