Thanks, but i don`t need a roll cage. I was at the pic n pull in Fairfield last weekend and they didn`t have much, they had five second gen 4Runners but no trucks, they also has an 87 4Runner for sale for 1125.00, it was red with red interior and it was an automatic, i don`t know what engine it has, but the body and interior were in good shape.

yeah the one in rancho has like 6-7 4runners and a couple 89-95 trucks. I pulled the seats out of the truck body style.

I had to replace the seats in my 4Runner when i got it, but i couldn`t find any so i got some seats from a mid eightys corolla and swapped the 4Runner seat brackets onto the corolla seats and put them in my 4Runner, there a couple of inches taller than regular 4Runner seats but they look good.

Maybe the same way as the interior window knob? If you had a FSM it would probably tell you. My window knob (no power windows, obviously) comes off by sliding a cloth behind it and pulling out...that's what the FSM says to do and it works.

LMFAO i feel like an idiot... that was probably the easiest thing about pulling the seat apart... unbelieveable... thanks teuf... you're the man. I used a pair of needle nose pliers and pushed both ends of the C clip.

The 2 ends, press evenly on them, should pop out.
