I'm looking at getting some new front shocks. I've found these Pro Comp ES9000's that I'm kind of leaning towards. Right now I can only do the front until I save up some more and these fit into my budget. Has anyone ever used these or currently have them? What are your thoughts?

i have the es9000 shocks and for the price they are awesome! ive had them for almost a year and so far none of them have blown or leaked, i think they come with a lifetime warranty from 4wheelparts... i think i dont remember.

oh and an FYI, the front shocks may rub on the bumpstop, at least they did on my 4runner. if they do just grind off a little so it doesnt damage the body of the shock.

I have Rancho 5000s on the back right now, which were on when I bought the truck. The front are still original as far as I can tell so I imagine anything will be a major improvement. Thanks for the input guys and 70elcoss, thanks for the tip. I'll have to remember that.

have them on my 2nd gen runner right now. stiff shock but it goes pretty well on my truck with 31s on and offroad.

got my truck in one situation where i was suprised it didnt blow. seems to me its a good durable shock for the price

Yea, yea I know. I did look up reviews and did read alot of them but I wanted to get opinions from Yotatech guys rather than some guy who put them on his f-250.

Decided that I'll go with them anyways. Get them ordered up this week from 4wheelparts.

I'm loving them. I can't wait to get them on the back now. They are a little stiff but you get use to it. Haven't had the chance to take it up in the hills yet though.

Thanks for the reply! I ended up ordering ES3000s because 4wheelparts didn't have the es9000s in stock, so i figured i'd get the 3000's since i'm on the road most of the time anyway and they are supposted to be a little softer on road.
