Hi guys I am looking at buying a newer Toyota truck

I have it down to Two trucks

1999 Toyota ext cab V6 standard 4x4 with 93,000 KM seller says it has LOW mileage, excellent upholstery like new, fitted Action Cap with new rear door window, lockable latches, bed liner4 Good Wrangler AT/S, new spare Wrangler, 40% brakes front and back passed Toyota rust perforation recall, under coated by Toyota with 15 year warranty on frame.
A few body panel dents Great vehicle, well cared for. Asking $10,000

2002 Tacoma Ext. Cab 4x4 V-6 ,5-SPEED STANDARD..A.C.,PW.,PL,.AM/FM WITH CD .Red in colour. This truck is mechanically sound. Interior in excellent condition. This truck is in great condition. Have purchased another truck Listed for $13 000 told me bottom line is $10 000….. It comes with extra set of tires on chrome rims. I called Toyota and the 5-11 recall Ball joint has been done but the 9-17 undercoating re-spray has not been done. The tires / rims on the truck now are 235-75-16 same size as on my 92 with what looks like the same rims.

What it comes down to is the “guts of the truck are the same” the shape and condition are the same. what would I be better off with ?

And I put a newer style front end (grill) on the 1999 truck with out much trouble ?
