pshhh why not just put a loud ass muffler on there? you put all the money into headers, high flow cat, and a full exhaust, but you wanna quiet it?

turned down exhaust really makes the truck have a "hummy" sound to it. you should probably add a tail pipe with how much flow you're getting, it'll even out that tone and make it sound alot cleaner. listen to this video, you can really tell when i rev it up to 5k and let it off... it always maintains a clean sound and vibrant tone.

lol I have tons of stuff to install that people dont know about... I have gears, 1 aussie locker, Km2's on order. I also have a mid-section dome light that im needing to put on but i wanna wait to put a 32 bulb LED light in it. I also have 2 sets of rims for my truck, the other set my KM2's are going on, the set i have on right now are going to be daily driver tires/rims. I have a practically BRAND NEW dash for my truck that has no cracks in it... got it for 40 bucks at pick n pull... lol I've scored so much crap at pick n pull. i have 6 clutch/brake pedal pad replacements and such... lol figured if i spent 2 bucks i might as well come outta there with something ya know? but yeah. I just got my tax return too so i might get a winch and some offroad lights... or just a lift... probably gonna go with 1.5" BJ spacers and 901 coils with OME shocks, steering stabilizer and torsion bars.

lmao no way. headers were 610 bucks but hey, quick on subject question... does a flex pipe reduce flow/sound? will it cause backpressure?

so what would u do to make a 3.4 sound clean like your 3.0 sounds. i like it. although i would have gone with 2.5 all the way out if your going to switch to a 3.4 at a later date.

my exhaust is 2.5 currently. empty cat. and flowmaster muffler.

you cant make a 3.4 sound like a 3.0... SOHC vs DOHC. the DOHC will always have a higher pitch rather than a lower tone. and why 2.50? i'd only go 2.5 if i were supercharged on a 3.4

well my main reason for doing it when i did my exhaust was, #1. Because ORS's Crossover, that i bought when i built my swap, was 2.5 at the outlet so i didnt see any reason in restricting it after that. #2 orginally i was going to supercharge.

Mine sounds nice until u hit the higher rpms then it whines like a stuck pig. well it does at least with no load on it.
