Hope its not my head gasket!!!!
for the past couple of months my coolant has been looking a little milky.....about six months ago i did a system flush and i now see that it is milky again. i know this is a symptom of a leaky head gasket....but is there any other possibilities????? i would rather swap in a 22re than just rebuild the 20r. any help would be much appreciated!!!!!

Whats the condition of the timing chain?
Its possible for the timing chain to become loose and wear a hole in the timing cover and cause oil and coolant to mix.
First thing you should do is a compression test.

my best guess is just a leaky gasket....somthin real small! because there is more oil psi than psi from the cooling system (especially cause my truck never gets up to opp temp) it is very possible that there is just a little oil in the coolant! but thats just a guess!

My Runner has a small head gasket leak. I lose a little coolant over a period of time, no water in the oil or oil in the water. Aside from the coolant loss, the most noticeable symptom is excessive steam coming out the exhaust pipe, especially when the engine is cold.
