Long story short my buddy got some gum on my leather seats. I tried everything to get it off. Anyone got any ideas???

Some suggestions-
1- Rub the gum with a piece of ice. The gum will firm up when it gets cold and can be pried/chipped off the leather.

2- If #1 doesn't work, you can try rubbing peanut butter on it. When I was a kid my mom used peanut butter to get gum out of my hair (Thanks bro!) Something about the oils in the peanut butter breaking down the gum. I wouldn't try this except for on a flat, solid piece of leather, or your car might forever smell like peanuts.

goo gone should work also, the ice would be a first try.

You may need something colder than ice, try a freeze spray made for getting gum out of carpet. You should be able to find it at a janitoral supply. Or you could try dry ice too.

Thanks guys. I already tried the Alcohol thing, and the Goo Gone I have specifically says not to use on leather. I will definitely try the other stuff.

Seriously, try the Peanut Butter. This is not Urban myth...It will work and the oil in the Peanut Butter won't hurt the leather. Use only enough to do the job and make sure you clean and condition the leather when your done. You will be amazed how good this will work. I swear on my YT membership this is no joke!

I went to bed one night many moons ago with a big wad of gum in my hair. My mom told me not to. I woke up with a big wad of gum on top of my head, and the wad in my mouth was gone. Coincidence? I still don't know. I thought I was going to have to shave it off. After debating on whether to go to school like that, I showed my mom. She laughed, and then laughed some more. Then she put peanut butter on my head, and the gum came out. Then she told all her friends. Now I carry a jar of smooth Jiffy every where I go. Peanut butter will get you out of all sorts of sticky situations.

For the record Jiff Chunky seems to work the best.

Sweet! Glad it worked for ya. Not sure about using the chunky stuff though...LOL

This tip will work for some mild adhesives also. Just make sure the oil will not harm the surface your trying to clean.

Haha, I figured the chunks would help add to the "scrubbing" effect. J/K its all I had. I'm not a big fan of creamy.
